Journalists from the two major local papers visited class
On Tuesday, April 3, two journalists from the two major local papers came to Robert Watson’s class to speak to his students about how they cover elections, campaigns and politicians. George Bennett, political reporter at the Palm Beach Post, and Tony Man, political reporter at the Sun-Sentinel, talked about their plans for covering the 2012 election and presidential debate at Lynn and then took questions from students. The class meets in the College of International Communication’s TV studio, a fitting venue when discussing media and elections. Check out the photos.
