Debate Ticket Lottery Drawing

One-third of Lynn University’s entire student body – 750 students – registered in the presidential debate ticket lottery and are eligible for a chance to win a coveted ticket to the final presidential debate inside Lynn’s Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center. The official drawing for debate tickets will take place on Sunday, Oct. 21, at noon on the lawn behind the Schmidt College Center, just one day before the Oct. 22 debate. Students must be present to win. The number of tickets available will not be known until the day prior to the debate. All tickets allotted to the university by the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) will go to students. President Kevin Ross, and other Lynn cabinet members, along with mascot Big LU, will draw the names from a lottery barrel drum. Each winner will receive a commemorative “ticket.”
